The goal of every service is to help you connect with the Source of all life that is within you.

Dress comfortably and casually when you attend our services. Unity believes all people are loved equally with no exceptions, so come as you are. Many people say they feel at home when they find us, and we like it that way. Infants, toddlers, kids, and teens are encouraged to participate. This is a kid-friendly church.
Our services are celebrations, designed to help us remember that we are all loved children of God.

Sunday service begins at 11:00 am and lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. The service includes the typical components of Sunday church service, but with a very different style and feel.

Prayer is the very foundation of Unity. One of Unity's co-founders, Myrtle Fillmore, who was a pioneer in Christian metaphysics. Myrtle and Charles, her husband, founded the Unity movement and Silent Unity, the international prayer ministry that publishes Daily Word.  They built Unity into the worldwide organization that continues their work today.

Prayer Chaplain Program

The Prayer Chaplain Program (PCP) is a unique sacred service program offered to the congregation. Each Sunday following the services, trained prayer chaplains are available to pray with anyone in need.

What is a Prayer Chaplain?

  • A Prayer Chaplain acknowledges and calls on the presence of God

  • A Prayer Chaplain lovingly listens

  • A Prayer Chaplain prays from the heart

  • A Prayer Chaplain holds in confidence what is shared

Janet Prince, Sharon Mullins, Marianne Gettman, Laura Wellstead, and Alexa Peck are UKV's Prayer Chaplains and are available to pray with you. The UKV Prayer Line number is (304) 945-0033

When people pray together their intention is magnified.  As Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them."  (Matthew 18:20) KJV
